To The Robinson Family,

You are in the hearts and prayers of I and my family at the loss of your beloved Leroy "Kamau". He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and the LaMond Neighborhood will definitely feel the void he has left. He flashed that radiant smile of his to all who came in contact with him and always had such a pleasant and calm spirit. He gave so much of himself to help others that he is surely in heaven with God among the stars that he reached so high to attain.

May God continue to bless and keep you in His loving and protective arms.

To the Family Mr.Robinson (Kamau)
I have only known Kamau for a few years, but those few years was both
inspirational and enlightening.I most remember him for that radiant
smile and the kindness he showed to everyone that he met.

On behalf of the Woodson Banneker Jackson-Bey Division 330 of the UNIA-ACL, we offer our condelences and deepest sympathies to the family of the Honorable Baba Kamau Robinson. Baba Kamau was a brother who was always willing to offer his valuable services and resources to his family, friends, students, staff, organizations and the progressive community at large. The Banneker City community truly lost a great human educational institution in Baba Kamau, but we have contributed another great ancestor to the spirit world.

True Garveyite until the end, so let us also look for him in the whirlwind!

Brother Kamau by token of being a loving educator will live on in those whose education he has facilitated; this is an indelible legacy, that will have far reaching implications as his students contribute to world change now, and in the years to come.

I have been touched and inspired by Kamau's selfless dedication to his work, and his endless generosity and humility towards all people.

As I travelled, I would send him currency notes from different countries around the world (he was a collector), and whenever I returned from a trip we would spend hours discussing the cultures and details of the areas from which the notes came. His interest and quest for details always tickled and surprised me.

He is a true colleague, a brother, and a friend; and I am happy that he will continue to be there for me, from a Higher place.

May His Soul in Peace fly unencumbered to where He needs to be.

Kamau is and will always be very special to me. All I remember are his encouraging words and lovely and engaging smile, no matter the situation.

I can easily understand why people fell in love with him, for he caught my heart as well.

May ALLAH continue to guide, protect, inspire, and comfort us all during this time.

My good Brother, you have now transitioned over and now walk with Jackson Bey, John Henrik Clarke, and the like...continuing to do battle for us on this plane. Miss you my Brother, but we feel your energy, and will carry your works and deeds forward. You did your work and did it well. The impact of your deeds and works will forever lift you up. In the whirlwind my Brother...

Kamau or as his students called him Mr. Rob is a fine person. He is my daughter, Safiya's favorite teacher of all time. He and I played tennis together. Even though gone on this plane he leaves his mark on so many of us, especially all those he taught.

To the Family of My Dear Brother, freind BaBa Kamua, I am so hurt and surprised at the sudden transition of BaBa Kamua. I worked at Rabaut Jr. High School when he was a student there and have known him well and up close, since then. He is one of the most committed Brothers to the cause of all our people I have ever known and I/ we in the UNIA-ACL shall miss him dearly. We share our sincere condolences to all the family and shall keep the great Legacy BaBa Kamau as left us. In spirit we know he shall be a great angel guiding and watching over us along with so many other rightous ancestors. To God be the Glory! One God One Aim One Destiny!
