Please accept my condolences. The loss of a loved one is truly a difficult time for family and friends. It is encouraging to know that God has loving concern for bereaved ones. God does not plan for us to suffer from sickness and death forever. He promises that one day he will ‘swallow up death forever’ (Isaiah 25:8,9). We will also have the opportunity to be reunited with our loved ones. According to scriptures such as Isaiah 26:19; Hosea 13:14, John 5:18,29 and Revelation 20:13, there will be a resurrection. This hope brings me comfort, strength and encouragement. I have faith in those scriptures because Titus 1:2 tells us that God can not lie. Please review these scriptures in your own copy of the bible. May these words bring you comfort, strength and encouragement.
